HI MY NAME IS MEHRABAN!
I AM A UX DESIGNER LOOKING TO HELP YOUR PRODUCTS BECOME MORE USER FRIENDLY.
I was always interested in becoming a designer. Hence, I enrolled in a gifted art program in high school. However, life did not go as smoothly as I hoped and the recession happened. I wondered if knowledge about business would be an asset to my future.
A year before graduating high school, I switched programs and enrolled in accounting for university and quit my art program. With much disappointment from my peers, I went on my journey to learn about business. After switching to HR and graduating, I worked for a few months for a start-up social media marketing company as an account manager and an HR and did not enjoy the role of an HR manager. For fun, I picked up jewerly design.
While I was in my hometown for about a year my old English teacher and friend suggested teaching English as a second language, I started teaching and I enjoyed it very much. I then came back to Canada and completed my TESL license. I taught for two years and realized for the amount of work you do you are not well compensated. So it was time to explore my options. I was suggested to look into becoming a scrum master trainer, I examined it thoroughly and it did not seem like the job for me.
After a short while, a dear friend who is a product manager and knows my history suggested UX designer, I researched it and it finally made sense. I wish I knew about this field way before, but now I can apply my knowledge of business, human interaction and design throughout my work.

HI, MY NAME IS MEHRABAN!
I was always interested in becoming a designer. Hence, I enrolled in a gifted art program in high school. However, life did not go as smoothly
as I had hoped and the recession happened. I wondered if knowledge about business would be an asset to my future.
A year before graduating high school, I switched programs & enrolled
in accounting for university and quit my art program. With much disappointment from my peers, I went on my journey to learn about business. After switching to HR and graduating, I worked for a few months for a start-up social media marketing company as an account manager & an HR consultant and it did not utilize my creativity. As a hobby, I picked up jewelry design.
While I was in my hometown for about a year, my old English teacher
& friend suggested teaching English as a second language, so I
started teaching & I enjoyed it very much. I then came back to
Canada & completed my TESL license. I taught for two years, it was
very fulfilling & it helped me to perfect my presentation, planning,
& problem-solving abilities. However, I yearned for a role with more creativity & it was time to explore my options. I was suggested to
look into becoming a scrum master trainer, I examined it thoroughly
& it was very technical, but seemed to also lack the creative aspect
that I was craving.
After a short while, a dear friend who is a product manager suggested
UX designer as a career. I researched UX design & it finally made
sense. I wish I had known about this field earlier, but now I feel like I
can merge my knowledge of business & human interaction with my passion for design & creativity.
